I can't speak for other applications but for Word, you can apply a short cut to any style. I use -1, -2, etc. for headings and -n for normal style. Simply modify the style and look for the "Shortcut Key " menu under the "Format" button. Other word processors are likely to have similar capabilities.
Hi, I have Windows 11 and the latest version of Word. Every time I go to change the font size in a table, it seems to change the size of or something about the table. It is hard to say what or by what degree, as it does so quite automatically and quickly and simultaneously with my attempt to change the font size.
Report abuse. Go to File > Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options. Click on either of the entries for changing hyphens to dashes (en dash and em dash). Above the "With" box you should see option buttons labeled "Plain text" and "Formatted text"; the "Plain text" one should have the filled center, and both should be grayed out.

Set font Courier New to Find what and Courier New, 8pt to Replace with. To avoid the issue altogether you could use Styles that allow you to centrally manage text formatting.
